Erika later discovers that the boy in the picture attends the same school where she studies. His name is Kyouya Sata. Left with no choice, Erika approaches Kyouya and asks him to pretend as her boyfriend in front of her friends. Sounds similar to Rent a Girlfriend? The twist comes when Erika comes to know that Kyouya has a cruel personality and would only help her if she agrees to become her pet.

Sakamachi soon discovers that the girl he was desperately trying to avoid, Subaru Konoe, is the most popular student in his school. She is also the butler of Kanade Suzutsuki, the headmaster’s daughter.

Sakamachi didn’t know that Kanade was a female. When Subaru discovers that Sakamachi was avoiding her all the time, she assaults him and knocks him down. After regaining his senses, Kanade confronts him and asks him to keep shut about Subaru. In exchange, she promises to cure Sakamachi of his phobia around girls.

8. Golden Time

Chizuru in Rent a Girlfriend is such a charming character that you would fall in love with her almost instantly. You would have similar feelings for Banri Tada, the hero of Golden Time. Banri Tada recently enrolls in one of the prestigious law schools in Tokyo. But just before his admissions, he meets an accident and loses his memory. 

During his time at the school, he meets Koko Yaga, a beautiful but hostile girl. Banri Tada soon starts falling in love with Koko but his memories also resurface simultaneously. This leads him to re-evaluate his feelings for Koko. Although both Banri and Koko are considerate, tentative, and kind, Koko’s hostile nature is what irks Banri, now that he got his memory back.
