1. Naruto

Now almost everyone knows about Naruto because I have another hub on here talking about it. But for this one, I want to get more into the Anime instead of the fighting game. This anime premiered 3 years after the manga and it has became popular amongst different age ranges and cultures.

Naruto is a anime about a young ninja named Uzumaki Naruto who searches for recognition and respect from his peers in the village. He also aspires to become the Hokage, which is the number one ninja in the village that is acknowledged as the leader and most powerful. But recognition is harder to get for Naruto than any other ninja because when he was just a baby, the Sandaime Hokage sealed the nine tail demon fox inside of Naruto when it attacked the village.

Despite having a rabid animal inside of him, Naruto finds a way to cope with it and make many friends while completing missions, defeating enemies and trying to help everyone. As Naruto grew up into a teenager he got a mentor by the name of Jiraiya who teaches him new moves and also teaches him how to act more mature.

Naruto and his team has gone through many troubling times but the one that sticks out in their mind is when Uchiha Sasuke left the village and team 7 to join up with Orochimaru to gain power. Naruto and Sakura tried their hardest to bring him back but it just seemed that Sasuke was meant to be a rogue ninja for good because after all the tries, he was still with Orochimaru and had no plans to come back at all.

Now Naruto isn’t for everyone but if you haven’t checked it out, you should because you’re going to get addicted.

2. One Piece

One Piece has a lot of comedy and great fights that have you wondering who will come out on top (no pun intended). This is a great one because how can you go wrong with a talking reindeer, a rubber man, a samari who carries 3 swords, a cook who can kick you to the moon, a shooter who’s a coward but still has good aim, a woman who has the power to make arms come out of anything and another woman who can change the weather with a stick? The simple answer is that you can’t because after you factor in all their skills, you have to remember that they’re also pirates which is the best part.

A boy named Monkey D. Luffy, inspired by his childhood hero Shanks, sets out on a journey to find One Piece, the legendary treasure of the King of the Pirates, Gol D. Roger. To accomplish this, he must reach the end of the most deadly and dangerous ocean: The Grand Line.

Luffy captains the Straw Hat Pirates first through the sea of East Blue and then through the Grand Line. He follows the path of the deceased King of the Pirates, Gol D. Roger from island to island on his way to the great treasure One Piece. On his way his crew grows to have a firstmate – swordsman “Pirate Hunter” Roronoa Zoro, a navigator – “Cat Thief” Nami, a sniper-“Sogeking” Usopp, a cook- “Black Leg” Sanji, a doctor- “Cotton Candy Lover” Tony Tony Chopper, an archaeologist- “Demon Child” Nico Robin, a shipwright- “Cyborg” Franky, and a musician- “Dead Bones” Brook.

I mostly like this one because I like pirate movies and pictures thanks to Pirates of the Caribbean. I feel like One Piece is a cartoon version of Pirates that also brings weird fruit into the pictures.

3. Hajime No Ippo

Next on my list is a boxing anime called Hajime No Ippo.

I don’t particularly like boxing as a sport but I found myself glued to the screen as I was watching Ippo.

Hajime No Ippo meaning Fighting Spirit in english is about a boy who is very shy and in high school but doesn’t have the time to make friends mostly because he helps his mom out after school with their family fishing business. One day as he was walking home from school, a group of bullies decided to mess with him because he usually kept to himself. On that day, the bullies was planning on beating Ippo up into a bloody pulp but a professional middle-weight boxer stepped in and took Ippo to his gym.

When Ippo woke up, he heard the sounds of boxers training. The boxer who saved him decided to let him vent his frustration out on a sandbag. When he did, that’s when all the boxers saw that Ippo had the strength in him to be a good boxer. The day after, Ippo started his training at the gym and begun his career as a professional boxer.

This anime is an addicting one as well. I would suggest you check it out if you like boxing or if you just like action animes.
